MILITARY HONOR PARK
An educational park is being built on the north side of US 20 in front of the Michiana Regional Airport to honor all veterans of all wars, living and deceased.
We wish to continue to honor the men and women whose unconditional commitment has preserved our American way of life. Their courage, beyond personal concern, maintained our cherished freedom.
The goal of this unique Military Honor Park is to recognize, acknowledge and pay tribute to all veterans from each of the five military service branches from the Michiana area, whether living or deceased. Their contributions were a part of the history of this country and our regional area.
The Park is being built on four acres and will have ample parking. It will be built entirely with private donations. Completion is expected during the summer of the year 2000.
