Windows DatePicker
A free calendar program aide for data entry

I used Visual Basic to create this program as aide for historical data entry at the Bremen Public Library. Set the month and year you would like to view. Then click on the desired date. The date is then available to be pasted in the format mm/dd/yyyy. This will increase accuracy and efficiency and insure that a 4 digit year is used. This is a free program for PCs with Windows. Just download DatePicker.zip (1.4 mb, Version 1.1). You will need to unzip this file and then run the setup.exe program to install the DatePicker program.

Calendar Date Picking Program

When you run the program, click on the Set button to set a starting date. That day of the week will be highlighted and the date set will be in the middle row. To advance to the next week, click on the >> button in the lower right corner. To step back to the previous week, click on the << button. The Set button may be clicked at any time to set a specific date. Clicking on a date copies that date to the clipboard. It may then be pasted using the Ctrl+V keystroke combination, the Edit-Paste menu, or a toolbutton.
